Rose Stasuk quietly does her revolutionary work. A warehouse of
Chinese firecrakers ready to explode.
|
Provocative work, political yet personal. Deeply involved. Art often dark as a funnel cloud. Like a tornado, she clears a swath. The lucky viewer stumbles with her through the dust.Rose was awarded a State of Florida Arts Fellowship (Interdisciplinary Category 1995-96). She received her Master of Arts Degree in 1994 from the University of Florida. She has worked as an Associate artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, studying with Terry Allen, Carolee Schneemann and Mary Lucier. |
